Apple TV+ just unveiled the latest trailer for the upcoming documentary series Prehistoric Planet, focused on dinosaurs.
The team spared (almost) no expense: MPC is in charge of the VFX. The show is produced by the BBC Natural History Unit, with Jon Favreau & Mike Gunton as executive producers. Sir David Attenborough will lend his voice to the documentary series. Paleontologist Darren Naish and paleoartist Gabriel Ugueto are also involved in the show.
The team tried to depict dinosaurs in accordance to what we now know of these creatures, which explains why some of them are so different to what can still be seen in movies from the Jurassic World franchise.
The first episode of Prehistoric Planet will stream on Apple TV+ on May 23.
