French animation school ESMA unveils Prise de Bec, a thesis short film by Tristan Caillet, Thomas Cebadero, Fanny Garcia, Emma Hernandez-Senat, Billel Kellali, Chloé Lenarduzzi, Lucas Tarquini. “Prise de Bec” is a French expression that means “argument” and uses the French word for beak (people arguing are therefore compared to birds fighting each other).
Prise de Bec pays hommage to rubber hose animation & the Golden Age of Americain animation. However, this is not 2D animation, but 3D animation with stylized rendering.
