C’est désormais un rendez-vous régulier ; chaque année, le Festival d’Annecy laisse carte blanche à l’association Women In Animation afin d’évoquer via une série de tables rondes les progrès restant à faire dans le secteur en matière de diversité et représentations.
Cette édition 2020 n’échappe pas à la règle, malgré la dématérialisation. Les présentations colleront fortement à l’actualité, qu’il s’agisse de la pandémie et ses conséquences ou des manifestations contre le racisme et pour plus de justice sociale qui ont éclaté aux USA et dans le monde.
Le programme se scinde donc très logiquement en deux grandes parties dont vous trouverez le détail ci-dessous : la première tournée vers le racisme, la seconde centrée sur la pandémie et ses conséquences. En pratique, on y retrouvera expériences personnelles, conseils et cas concrets, réflexions sur l’industrie et ce vers quoi elle pourrait tendre. De quoi mieux comprendre les revendications actuelles, la manière dont certaines pratiques impactent directement une partie des personnes qui en font partie, mais aussi l’occasion de prendre du recul sur nos propres biais et travers.
Le tout sera accessible sur la plateforme du Festival à partir du 17 juin, que vous soyez accrédités Festival ou MIFA, jusqu’au 30 juin. Les contenus seront également proposés par la suite en interne aux membres de l’association WIA.

WELCOME FROM WIA
